Direct vs Indirect

There are many variations for distributing energy to a
building for direct or indirect supply of heating and
domestic hot water (DHW), such as:

  • Via a substation for indirect distribution of heating and DHW

  • Via an HIU for indirect distribution of heating and DHW

  • Different types of direct systems

  • Or a combination of above depending on local requirements
